Paul Dougherty is a Past-President of NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) and has been in the insurance and financial services field for twenty-nine years representing State Farm Insurance, the last twenty-two as an Agent in Hyattsville, Maryland. He is a passionate advocate for the insurance industry in general, and the role of the agent specifically.
Throughout his career, Paul has actively engaged in training producers, educating clients, as well as advising regulators and legislators about the value of the products and services designed to help consumers recover from the unexpected. Paul speaks to audiences and organizations around the country about the key role producers play in the industry and the need to assist clients in preparing for their financial future. His insights in the delivery of professional advice to a diverse marketplace has resulted in multiple requests to brief members of Congress and their staffs on key issues and has led to frequent testimony before Maryland House and Senate committees. He is also the current Chairman of the Retirement Planning Coalition of Maryland.
Paul balances the demands of his agency with his commitment to his community. He has served on four different school boards in Prince Georges County, including as President of two, as well as serving on other charitable boards. He is also a very experienced coach and has spent over fifteen years coaching 3 dozen different teams.
Paul is a native of Potomac, Maryland and a graduate of The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. Paul and his wife Elizabeth live in Croom, Maryland with their two children, Madeline, 22 and Jacob, 20 in the historic West End Farm.

Lawrence J. Holzberg, LUTCF, LACP, is Managing Director, Advanced Sales Director with Wealth Advisors Group in Woodbury, N.Y. He has more than 25 years of experience in the life insurance sales, team management, and brokerage marketplace. His role at Wealth Advisory Group allows him to work in all three areas. He contributes to career growth and development as well as leading the brokerage operations.
Holzberg spent 14 years as a Principal of Rampart America. Directly following, Holzberg headed up the expansion of brokerage operations of American Business. He has served as a NAIFA Trustee since 2017 and is a Past President of NAIFA-New York State. He was elected to the position of NAIFA Secretary in September 2019.
Throughout his career Holzberg has qualified for numerous awards, including Guardian’s Presidential Citation Award every year since he joined WAG. He is an avid golfer and sits on the Board of Directors of the Long Island Caddie Scholarship Fund. He resides with his wife, Joan, and their two daughters in Smithtown, N.Y.

Cliff Wilson is a past Chairman of Life Happens.
He entered the Insurance Business in 1970, went on to qualify for MDRT and become one of his company’s top producers. Some of Cliff’s involvements in the Insurance Industry and Community are:
-Served as NAIFA’s 118th President in 2008-2009
-Testified to Congress on Insurance Regulatory Legislation
-Met with top White House and Treasury Officials
-2016 Board Chair – LIFE HAPPENS
-LUTC Board of Trustees - Past Board Member
-The American College - Past Board Member
-Has served his community by coaching Little League and soccer teams, serving as a Board member for several youth organizations and helping with various other community sponsorships
-A Vietnam Veteran of the United States Navy
Cliff is a Past President of NAIFA Arizona and NAIFA East Valley. He was named Arizona’s Life Underwriter of the Year in 2000, Inducted into the Phoenix SFSP Chapter Hall of Fame in 2012 and is a frequent Industry speaker.
Cliff and his wife Joyce have 3 children, 4 grandchildren and live in Gilbert, Arizona
