Our agency was founded in 2006 by Gerry Wevodau. Gerry began his career in health insurance in 1989 serving individuals and groups of all sizes. Working for two agencies over the years, primarily building the health & life department, he decided to branch out on his own and started what we know today as Wevodau Insurance & Benefit Strategies. Emily Thoman, Gerry’s daughter, began working for the agency at its inception in 2006. In 2015 she joined the agency full-time as a licensed agent and benefit specialist.

Wevodau Insurance takes pride in being a family-owned and female-run company. We operate on biblical principles, treating others as we want to be treated, with the mindset of serving our clients and those we interact with. We are a full-service employee benefits agency, serving locally owned businesses and assisting with all things related to employer-offered health benefits.
