The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) is dedicated to promoting equal pay across the United States year-round. Today, we celebrate National Equal Pay Day by shining a spotlight on the unique financial planning challenges that women face.

National Equal Pay Day is an important day for acknowledging the ongoing gender wage gap affecting women. Although progress has been made, there is still much work to be done in achieving pay equity.

NAIFA is making a difference by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the financial services industry and through initiatives like our Women's Financial Security Fly-In, an event focused on empowering women in the financial services industry and addressing the needs of the clients they represent. In March, women financial advisors and insurance agents met with lawmakers in Washington, D.C., to discuss the unique challenges women in the workforce face.

By empowering women in their professional growth and advocating for their advancement, NAIFA plays a crucial role in addressing the gender pay gap.
